At this stage it looks like we will be reopening in 2022. In accordance with advice from NSW Health, all people entering the Art School must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Proof of vaccination will be required in the form of a Covid-19 Digital Certificate in paper or digital form for entry into the school. In addition to checking in, all attendees must follow current Health orders in force at the time of attendance.
A Revitalised and Refocused School The Principal, Paul Ashton Delprat said, “The School has survived The Plague, World Wars, The Spanish Flu, and The Depression and we will adapt and thrive again.” Preparations for compliance with COVID regulations has driven a larger and exciting refocus of the school, with significantly smaller classes allowing a much better teacher to student ratio. We are now planning to reopen the School. We are in the process of making significant changes for a revitalised and re-focused School that can deliver excellence while complying with COVID restrictions. One of the elements is a general cleanup to maximise space and reduce contamination areas to comply with COVID restrictions. As part of our re-opening plans, student works and materials at The Rocks Campus can now be collected from The Rocks Campus by booking a time between 10AM and 2PM on the 26th and 25th of March and the 1st and 2nd of April. Now that the Covid danger appears to be diminishing and the vaccine is on the way, we are taking steps to re-open the School.
